Tan buffalo hide that has been dyed at the tannery and I add 2 coats of waterproofing and 1 coat of UV protectant. They have a braided trim which is sewn on along with the hook velcro in the back  and lacing is included along with the loop velcro. These will not slide down on your forks at all.
